• Minimum 5 years RN experience
• direct patient care experience preferred
• RN - Reg Nurse license (Single State)
• RN-COMPACT - Multi-state Compact
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support
• BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor

Responsibilities

• Exemplary Practice and Outcomes: Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice and coordinating care.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care that reflects age, gender, disease and cultural diversity.
• Partners with the patient and significant others, using bedside shift reports, rounds, and planned teaching to align goals.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards and supports quality patient care.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation.
• Supports performance improvement and shared governance across the health system.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and research and participates in data collection and addressing practice questions.
• Plan for care across the continuum and supports efficient use of resources.
