Virginia Heart in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Cardiac Technician – Exercise Physiologist for our Loudoun Office. The role supports physicians with clinical tasks, conducts ECGs, and administers stress tests under supervision.

The position emphasizes accurate data entry into EMR, patient education, and effective coordination within a cardiology practice. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology (paramedic background also considered) and strong ECG

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology, or related field; paramedic background acceptable.
• Strong 12-lead ECG interpretation skills.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.
• Experience with stress testing and nuclear testing under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with office visits, including chart prep, vital signs, and ECG.
• Apply holter and event monitors and educate patients.
• Perform stress testing under physician supervision.
• Enter data into EMR and provide patient education.
