Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist for a PRN position in Nashville. You will support the cardiac surgery team by preparing the suite, assisting the surgeon, and maintaining sterile conditions throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• CST certification is required for the role.
• Certificate in Cardiovascular Surgical Technology or related credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the surgical suite with instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping and draping while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Scrub in and assist the surgeon by providing instruments and handling specimens.
• Monitor equipment and patient status during procedures and take action as needed.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure efficient room turnover with the team.
