Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using established nursing processes. You will coordinate patient care with the team and uphold standards of practice in a dynamic hospital environment.

Ideal candidates include new graduates or experienced nurses with Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS/PALS as applicable, ready to pursue specialty certifications within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; current RN license in Georgia required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• New graduates eligible; no prior hospital experience required.
• Hospitals experience preferred; 1 year for PRN positions preferred.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or within 6 months for certain specialties, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver high-quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice in line with organizational policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in daily practice.
