Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking full-time Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practitioners (PA/NP) for Danbury Hospital. The role spans OR, ICU/inpatient floors, and outpatient clinics with flexible scheduling including day and night shifts.

Ideal candidates are board-certified PA/NP with CTICU or Cardiac Surgery OR experience, CT license, ACLS/BLS, and RNFA-preferred capabilities. Join a growing team of PAs and surgeons in Fairfield County, CT.

Qualifications

• PA or NP training program graduate
• CT state license and DEA
• Experience in CTICU or Cardiac Surgery OR preferred but not required
• RNFA-related skills preferable but not required
• Board certification in PA/NP is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide care across OR, ICU/inpatient floor, and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and a multidisciplinary team
• manage cardiothoracic procedures and post-operative care
• participate in patient rounds and family education
