Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks an experienced CT Surgery Operating Room and clinic PA to join a dynamic team. You will act as a first or second assistant during cardiac surgeries and manage preoperative workups and postoperative clinic patients.

The position involves OR and clinic duties with no required night shifts or regular weekend work; weeknight/weekend call coverage exists for the OR. EVH experience is preferred, schedule typically rotates between clinic and OR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Graduate of a PA program accredited by the appropriate body.
• PA licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first or second assistant during cardiac surgeries.
• Assist with patient positioning, draping, suturing and tissue handling.
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment.
• Support OR setup and breakdown and assist with minimally invasive procedures.
