Corewell Health seeks a Cardiac Surgery Junior Associate to support complex cardiac procedures at Royal Oak, with secondary assignments to Troy and Dearborn campuses. The role emphasizes advanced subspecialty exposure and independent operative privileges within CHE.

Qualifications

• Completed an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery residency.
• ABTS eligible or certified.
• Independent operative privileges expected.

Responsibilities

• Support cardiac surgery cases across evaluation, surgical, post-operative and post-discharge phases at three CHE campuses.
• Participate in ECMO program with call responsibilities.
• Participate in mitral valve robotic program across the episode of care, including consultations and surgical assistance.
• Participate in durable LVAD program.
• Participate in advanced aortic percutaneous and open procedures.
• Attend and participate in academic activities, quality improvement initiatives and regular clinical conferences.
