Job summary

Tenet Physician Resources is seeking a cardiovascular surgeon for a hospital-based role within the Detroit Medical Group. The position features daily rounds, OR and clinic duties with a typical 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule and weekly Sinai-Grace/Heart Hospital clinics.

Expect roughly 40 hours weekly, with a 75% OR, 15% clinic, and 10% rounding mix, plus a shared call rotation of 1:2 and ongoing network growth across metro Detroit.

Qualifications

• Board Certified.
• Cardiovascular Surgery training and expertise.
• Active MI Medical License.
• Residents and fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Employed cardiovascular surgery position with Detroit Medical Group.
• Daily hospital rounds with 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule.
• Clinic at Sinai-Grace Hospital at least one day per week.
• Clinic at The Heart Hospital one day per week.
• Approximately 40 hours per week dedicated to patient care (OR/clinic).
• Shared call rotation of 1:2 with plans to expand to 1:3.
