Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery.
• Completion of an accredited cardiothoracic surgery training program.
• Advanced clinical training or experience in heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support; 3+ years preferred.
• Academic qualifications appropriate for appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor level.
• Commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, research and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support in collaboration with heart failure and transplant teams.
