Job summary

The Cardiovascular Center of Florida (CVCFL) in Orlando is seeking an experienced Cardiac Stress Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient cardiovascular team. You will support physicians and advanced practice providers, coordinate treatment plans, and ensure an exceptional patient experience throughout cardiovascular care.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, patient-focused, with 2+ years in cardiovascular nursing, skilled in EKG interpretation, and able to educate patients.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 2+ years in cardiovascular nursing.
• ACLS certification preferred or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and document findings in the EMR.
• Review histories, medications, allergies, and treatment plans.
• Perform triage for cardiovascular symptoms via phone and electronic systems.
• Review and communicate lab, imaging, and diagnostic results.
• Monitor patient status and assist with planning and procedures.
• Educate patients and coordinate referrals and follow-up.
