Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown unit on day shift.

You will provide safe, competent nursing care, communicate with physicians, administer IVs and medications, and monitor patients with bedside equipment; Florida RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs and care plans.
• Administers IVs and medications to aid patient health and uses medical equipment to monitor vital signs.
• Demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team on the unit.
