Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 24-bed CV Stepdown unit at the 4Main location. The role involves coordinating and delivering care for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical, pre-operative and post-operative patients, with 3-12 hour shifts and rotating weekends and holidays.

Completion of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license is required; BLS is mandatory and ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state where practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required/expected within 6 months of hire date.
• Cardiac/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, you will deliver and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safety and therapeutic care.
• Apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and strong communication to create a safe environment and positive patient experience across the continuum.
