Job summary

Aya Healthcare in San Francisco, CA has an immediate opening for a Stepdown Cardiac Registered Nurse. This 12‑week assignment offers 3, 12‑hour days (07:00–19:30) or an alternate schedule (19:00–07:30) and starts 10/06/2026; Epic is the charting system.

Applicants need 1 year of RN experience, a BSN, ACLS and BLS certifications, and the ability to manage cardiac drips, dysrhythmias and chest tubes. This acute care facility features 785 beds.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• BSN required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Ability to manage cardiac drips and rapid response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide stepdown cardiac care to acutely ill patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions.
• Ensure patient safety and collaborate with care teams.
