Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital seeks a Cardiac Stepdown Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) to lead patient-centered care on the unit and coordinate nursing activities in partnership with the management team. The CNC will support admissions and discharges, coach staff, and ensure quality outcomes while working a 36-hour week (7a-7p) with weekend/holiday rotations.

Active NH RN license, ACLS, BCLS within specified timelines, and ADN are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• RN license in New Hampshire required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse license in State of New Hampshire required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
