Job summary

Parkwest Medical Center, Covenant Health’s flagship facility in West Knoxville, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Specialty Unit. This full-time role is 72 hours per pay period, day shift, and involves coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team and providing patient education.

The ideal candidate will have Tennessee RN licensure and CPR certification, with new graduates welcomed for orientation.

Qualifications

• TN RN license required; CPR certification required.
• New graduates welcome within first year of orientation to advance to level II.
• Candidate must meet standards set by licensing authority.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing history and initiates patient education.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members.
• Implements plan of care and evaluates outcomes.
• Supervises LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs and sitters.
• Participates on unit-based committees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
