Job summary

UCHealth Memorial Hospital — Colorado Springs is seeking a Certified Cardiac Sonographer for an onsite, full-time position (80 hours per pay period). The role requires RDCS/CCI credentials and BLS, with relocation bonus potential for qualified candidates.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to patient care excellence in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR Associate's degree in allied health OR Bachelor's degree in any area.
• RDCS certification by ARDMS or RCS by CCI; BLS Healthcare Provider and relevant life support certifications as required.
• Registered Sonographer and RDCS/CCI credentials per position level.
• BLS or CPR certification to be valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides top of scope patient-care within GVH Non Invasive Cardiology.
• Supports a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Precepts and mentors new UCHealth colleagues.
• Maintains proficiency in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
• Contributes to safety and quality of care at the point of service.

Department: GVH Non Invasive Cardiology

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Flex

Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Relocation bonus may apply for qualified candidates.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR Associate's degree in allied health OR a Bachelor's degree in any area.


• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.

• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
