Job summary

Trusted is seeking an experienced allied health professional for a travel assignment in the Wake Region. The role focuses on advanced cardiac imaging including TTE/TEE and stress echo, with duties spanning both portable and in-lab studies.

Experience with 2D, Doppler, and other echo modalities is required; stress echo and IV management training are preferred. The schedule includes a Friday/Saturday/Sunday pattern, with weekend rotation once a month.

Qualifications

• Echo techs must have skills in 2D, Doppler, color flow, 3D, strain, and contrast studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiac diagnostics including TTE, TEE, stress echo, and dobutamine stress echo studies.
• Handle casework with heart failure, chemotherapy evaluations, and renal transplant evaluations.
• Daily volume includes 110 comprehensive TTE studies across all areas, 14 stress/stress echo/dobutamine stress echo/nuclear cardiology/tilt studies, and 5-6 TEE studies.
• Work includes a balance of portable and in-lab studies.
• Uses Encompass and operates Philips and GE echocardiography systems.

Shift:

8:30 AM - 9:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <35 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Work includes a balance of portable and in-lab studies.

Shift & Scheduling:
Friday/Saturday/Sunday schedule.
Weekend rotation is one weekend per month.
Work either Thanksgiving or Christmas Day.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
Echo Techs float to satellite sites managed within the Wake Region.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
