Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to perform non-invasive diagnostic cardiac ultrasound as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care. The role requires adherence to safety standards and certification requirements.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of sonography experience or training, BCLS certification, and, preferably, RDCS.

This position in accordance with the departmental standards of practice, assumes responsibility for all non-invasive diagnostic cardiac sonography as ordered by the physicians to assure quality patient care and treatment.
