Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking qualified Cardiac Sonographers to assist with Veteran's Clinics, offering travel options and flexible opportunities across facilities. The role requires at least one year of cardiac diagnostic experience and current RDCS certification, with emphasis on independence, professionalism, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include performing Echo imaging in ER settings, communicating findings to radiologists, and utilizing PACS/EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures.
• Current ARDMS RDCS certification is required.
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass health requirements, including drug screening and background check, and have current BLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency with medical diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Perform a wide range of Echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER environment.
• Communicate pertinent clinical information to the radiologist.
• Provide excellent patient care with strong rapport to client hospitals and staff.
• Use PACS and EMR systems to enter and retrieve care data.

Cardiac SonographerRequirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and related responsibilities
• Current ARDMS - RDCS certification
• Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in a diverse population.
• Ability to be self-directed and organized to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
• Must be able to pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screening and background check
• Must have a current BLS/CPR

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in medical diagnostic imaging equipment
• Perform a wide range of Echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER environment
• Communicate pertinent clinical information and findings to the radiologist.
• Provide excellent care to their patients while maintaining a good rapport and excellent service to all client hospitals and staff.
• Utilize systems such as PACS systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to obtain or enter appropriate care data.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs., including patients, portable equipment, and positioning tools
• Physical agility to bend, twist, and reposition as needed
• Endurance for prolonged standing, walking, and multiple back-to-back procedures
