Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for the Cardiovascular Testing team in Manchester, NH. The role involves performing cardiac ultrasounds across age groups and supporting non-invasive testing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of cardiovascular sonography experience, formal ultrasound training, and ARDMS/CCI/CARDUP credentials with RDCS/RCS/RCCS eligibility within 12 months. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal ultrasound program (pediatric echo requires additional training).
• Minimum 1 year cardiovascular sonography experience is required.
• ARDMS/CCI/CARDUP credentialing in echocardiography is required; RDCS/RCS/RCCS within 1 year.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire is required; CME credits must be current.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasounds for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patients within competency.
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms and stress testing as needed.
• Produce preliminary echo reports consistent with ICAEL standards.
• Complete pre-procedure intake and communicate patient needs to the team.
• Maintain equipment and participate in quality improvement activities.

Education

1 year cardiovascular sonography experience

Board certification/credential in echocardiography (ARDMS/CCI/CARDUP)

RDCS/RCS/RCCS within 1 year of eligibility

BLS within 60 days of hire

CME credits maintenance
