Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform advanced ultrasound imaging, assisting in diagnosing and monitoring a wide range of medical conditions. You will operate ultrasound equipment with precision, deliver high-quality images, and contribute to patient care with compassionate communication.

The role requires ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RCS certification (or registry eligible within 6 months) and BLS, with education through a sonography program or supervised on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Sonography with required clinical hours or on-the-job training by a registered Cardiac ultrasound preceptor.
• ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) or registry eligible (must obtain registry within 6 months).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced ultrasound imaging procedures to assist in diagnosing and monitoring conditions.
• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and accurately to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
