Domnovate is seeking a Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer in Wilmington, DE to join our nonprofit health system. The role involves performing diagnostic echocardiography and supporting physicians with accurate imaging and patient care.

The schedule is five 8-hour shifts (10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.), day/evening with on-call and weekend rotation. Candidates must be registry-eligible and pass RDCS/RCS exams; CPR certified; strong teamwork required.

Qualifications

• Pass the registry exam from ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS).

Our Client, is looking for a Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer who will utilize our core values of Love & Excellence to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Schedule:

Five 8-hour shifts, day/evening.

10:00a.m to 6:30p.m.

Holiday and Call rotation will be needed, as well as flexibility with weekend rotation coverage.

Shift is primarily at Wilmington Outpatient and occasional coverage at Newark may be requested.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) procedures at the request of physicians to assist in the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. Assist with the clinical training of students and Cardiology Fellows associated with the Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Lab.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs cardiac ultrasound procedures.

Documents patients clinical history and technologist impressions of the images obtained on exam request forms.

Assists the cardiologist with obtaining images and equipment operation during transesophageal echocardiography.

Assists in the instruction of cardiac ultrasound students and Cardiology Fellows during their practice performance at Our Client.

Rotates on on-call schedule covering off hours and weekend rotation.

Performs pediatric echocardiography, if experienced.

Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs, and provide the care needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a graduate of a medical diagnostic ultrasound program or other allied health profession or possess equivalent training.

New graduates: Registry-eligible and must sit for registry and become RDCS/RCS within first year of employment or within first year of eligibility.

Pass the registry exam from either the ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS).

CPR certification.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Registered or registry-eligible (pass within one year of employment) in cardiac sonography.

Be able to pass Our Client pre-employment physical exam.

The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.

*Pay: $81,000–$129,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary based on the assignment, schedule, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. For eligible travelers, total compensation may include both taxable W-2 wages and separate travel reimbursements under Domnovate Healthcare’s travel reimbursement policy. Travel reimbursement eligibility and amounts are determined independently based on the employee’s circumstances, assignment location, and applicable reimbursement guidelines.
