• Maintains national certification/registry; demonstrates competency with all department equipment and procedures.
• Meets or exceeds department TAT goals for testing and logs completed work, including charges for tests performed.

Jobbeschreibung

Performs various diagnostic procedures used to assess the patient's Cardiovascular status. This includes but is not limited to echocardiography (transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress) and cardiac stress testing. May function in the capacity of ICAEL Co-Technical Director, submitting multi-site accreditation applications tri-annually, in conjunction with the Team Leader to obtain necessary case studies and documentation for submission. This position requires an on-call rotation with other department members.

Experience

1 Year Program Internship - Required

License & Certification

Professional Certification - Required

ARDMS or CCI registration completed within one year of employment.

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required

Core Job Functions

• Performs transthoracic echocardiograms, assists physician with stress testing and transesophogeal echocardiograms in accordance with IAC and lab standards.
• Organizes work area and maintains adequate supply of necessary stock and linens. Notifies supervisor of any equipment or supply needs that they cannot resolve.
• National certification/registry is maintained. Competency in the use of all department equipment and performance of all department procedures is demonstrated.
• Meets or exceeds department TAT goals for testing. Enters charges as instructed for all tests performed. Maintains log of individual work completed.
