Job summary

Blessing Health in Quincy, IL is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal and stress echocardiogram protocols as ordered by physicians. This role requires serving a wide age range from neonate to geriatric and aligning with the hospital mission and core values.

The ideal candidate will have ARDMS/CCI registry, BLS and ACLS, plus either complete echocardiography schooling or 2 years of full-time clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Required: Accredited echocardiography program completion or 2 years of full-time clinical echocardiography experience.
• Preferred: experience in other cardiac diagnostic procedures.
• Licensure: ARDMS/CCI registry, BLS and ACLS.

PAY RATE: $36.15 - $54.23

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for performing echocardiograms on all patients, assisting physicians with transesophageal and stress echocardiogram protocols and a variety of other cardiology procedures/tests and related functions as ordered by a physician/LIP.

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

• Successful completion of an accredited echocardiography school or 2-year full-time clinical echocardiography experience on patients in all age groups.

PREFERRED:

• Previous experience in other cardiac diagnostic procedures.

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• CCI or ARDMS registry required and/or appropriate experience, BLS and ACLS.

PAY STATUS

• Non-exempt hourly
