Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking an experienced Echo Technician to join our EKG Department. You will use high-frequency ultrasound to image the heart and vascular structures, supporting physicians in diagnoses and patient care.

Requirements include Registry Certification, prior cardiac ultrasound experience, pediatric imaging preferred, and ability to handle 4-5 on-call days per month with 30-minute on-site arrival.

Qualifications

• Registry certification required.
• Previous experience in cardiac ultrasound scanning required.
• Previous experience in cardiac stress testing required.
• 1 year experience with pediatric and neonate imaging strongly preferred.
• Must be able to take at least 4-5 days of call per month and be able to arrive to the hospital within 30 minutes of being paged.
• Preferred licensure in the state of Illinois, but will consider licensure pending within a year of hire.
• Days: 10 hours, 6:30a-5:00p
• Weekend rotation (1 weekend a month, 1 on call weekend every other month )
• Call Shifts Required (on call shift: 5p-6:30a)
