Lakeland Regional Health-Florida is seeking an experienced Echocardiogram Technician responsible for performing all echocardiograms, including various modalities such as Color Doppler and Transesophageal echocardiogram. This role requires effective communication and a strong commitment to patient care.

The ideal candidate should possess an accredited Echocardiography program completion. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, with a focus on fostering an inclusive care environment and ensuring safety standards.

Formación

Shift: M-F with Rotating Weekends/Holidays

Pay Rate: Min $33.89 Mid $42.18

Position Summary

Responsibility for performing all echocardiograms to include 2D, M-Mode, Color Doppler, Pulse Wave Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Transesophageal echocardiogram, stress echo and other related examinations according to established standards and practices at a high technical level. All echo technologists will perform echocardiograms in accordance with the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories standards.

• Experience with equipment including: Phillips IE33, HD11, CX50. Tee probe sterilization process. Stress echos, and pediatric echos.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School or Equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Echocardiography program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support

Certifications Essential

• Cardiac Sonographer Registry RCS or RCDS within two years of hire.

Certifications Preferred

• Cardiac Sonographer Registry, RCS or RCDS

Experience Essential

• Either prior work experience or a clinical practicum at an acute care hospital.

Experience Preferred

• One year of experience in an acute care hospital.
