Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography professional to operate ultrasound equipment and perform clinical exams and invasive procedures in a patient‑centered environment.

The role requires knowledge of anatomy, effective communication with staff and radiologists, and care across neonatal to geriatric patients. Schedule is MONDAY-FRIDAY 11P-7A, with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required.
• No experience required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures following established standards and practices.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment and demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatric, with effective communication to staff and radiologists.
