Dignity Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to support our Pacific Central Coast Health Centers. You will perform ultrasound procedures, position patients, operate equipment, and document findings to aid in accurate diagnoses.
The role requires RDCS, RDCSAE, or RDMS certification and at least three years of outpatient ultrasound experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills. On-site work at PHC facilities is expected.
As our Cardiac Sonographer, you will help patients and clinicians accurately diagnose and manage cardiac conditions so they can receive effective and timely medical care within the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers healthcare philosophy.
Every day you will perform a variety of technically proficient ultrasound procedures. You will be expected to position and instruct patients, operate ultrasound equipment, determine technical factors, ensure correct image marking and labeling, and provide adequate documentation for diagnostic purposes.
To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional technical proficiency in cardiac ultrasound procedures, demonstrate ingenuity and initiative in diagnostic imaging, and have the ability to train other staff members in procedures requiring independent judgment.
