Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Cardiovascular Service Line. You’ll provide comprehensive care across cardiac services, coordinate patient plans, and collaborate with physicians to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Requirements include an active RN license, an associate degree in nursing, BLS, ACLS and PALS within six months, and 2–4 years in acute cardiovascular or electrophysiology nursing.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Associate's degree in nursing
• BLS within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
• 2–4 years of acute cardiovascular or electrophysiology nursing experience
• 1 year of specialized electrophysiology experience is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing and monitoring patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments and coordinate care across the Cardiovascular Service Line
• Educate patients and families and triage high-risk cardiac patients
• Perform post-operative assessments and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support implementation of clinical initiatives and protocols to deliver safe, high-quality care
