Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Medical terminology knowledge required.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll research subjects onto clinical research projects per study protocols.
• Verify eligibility criteria against subjects' medical records and protocol.
• Discuss informed consent with subjects and assist with scheduling visits.
• Learn protocol and ensure adherence by physicians, nurses and researchers; flag issues.
• Extract data from hospital records and other sources for case report forms; enter into the database.
• Assist with insurance approvals and scheduling tests/admissions for subjects.
• Assist with IRB correspondence and regulatory documentation.
