Job summary

Baptist Health LaGrange is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Rehab unit. The role reports to the Nursing Director and focuses on coordinating direct and indirect patient care in line with the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

The position requires an active Kentucky RN license, BCLS certification, and typically a minimum of six months of experience. This is a per diem posting with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky RN License (Required).
• BCLS (Required).
• Six (6) months previous experience (Strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct and indirect patient care within the hospital's policies and procedures.
• Assist in fulfillment of the hospital mission under physician supervision.
• Ensure care coordination and safety for Cardiac Rehab patients.

Schedule:

The Cardiac Rehab is staffed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. No weekend or holiday requirements.

What You'll Do:

The Cardiac Rehab Nurse is under the direction and supervision of a physician. Assignment of responsibility in patient care (direct or indirect) is by the Nursing Director of the Department. The RN is responsible for the coordination of direct and indirect care within the parameter of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of Baptist Hospital LaGrange. Responsibilities are commensurate with the education preparation and demonstrated competencies. The RN is responsible to assist in the fulfillment of the hospital mission.
