Virtua Health in Egg Harbor Township seeks an Exercise Physiologist for Cardiopulmonary Rehab on a per diem basis. The role participates in program planning, supervised exercise testing, and patient counseling within the cardiac rehab program.

Interprets EKGs and develops individualized exercise prescriptions while ensuring safety and supporting data collection for outcomes. Requirements include 1+ year hospital or fitness setting experience and a BS in Exercise Physiology; ACLS and EKG

Qualifikationen

• Experience: Minimum of one year's experience in hospital or fitness setting.
• Education: B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science from an accredited school or University.
• M.S. preferred in cardiac setting.
• Training/Certification/Licensure: ACLS. Completion of EKG course. ACSM certification preferred. Specialized training in cardiovascular disease or cardiac unit experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Participates in program planning, supervision, cardiac testing and counseling of patients enrolled in cardiopulmonary rehab.
• Collaborates with physicians to deliver high quality diagnostic testing and establish initial exercise prescriptions.
• Assists in maintaining data on patient outcomes and supports special projects such as community education.

B.S. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science

ACLS
