Job summary

Lexington Health is seeking a Cardiac/Pulmonary/Vascular Rehabilitation Specialist to join the West Columbia outpatient program. The role focuses on risk reduction, behavior modification, and education, with graded exercise testing, exercise prescription, and patient education.

You will support new patient evaluations, document care, and help with follow-up, billing, and charting. Requires a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or Physiology and ACLS/BLS certification; day shift, full-time, on-site in

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, risk-factor and behavior modification strategies.
• ACLS interpretation during exercise with/without drug therapy implications.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive attitude and professional communication with patients and staff.
• Ensures effective documentation and patient record keeping, including progress notes and charges.
• Preps patients with history, vital signs, and EKG lead placement for tests.
• Performs graded exercise studies and updates exercise prescriptions as needed.
• Assists in orientation of new staff and stays current with exercise physiology trends.
• Rotates to affiliated LMC practices as needed.
