Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to support our Cardiopulmonary Rehab program on a PRN basis. You will assess patients, design personalized exercise prescriptions, and deliver group or individual sessions aligned with AACVPR guidelines to improve cardiac health.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, ACSM certification, and relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science.
• Bachelor's degree plus ACSM RCEP credential accepted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and document in Epic.
• Formulate personalized exercise prescriptions for diverse patients.
• Deliver group exercise instruction to cardiac rehab clients.
• Maintain communication with patients and the interdisciplinary team.
