Job summary
AdventHealth Carrollwood is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to perform pre-admission testing and provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab, EP Lab, or Non-invasive suite. You will collaborate with the anesthesia team and cardiology staff, ensuring safe, efficient care and adherence to infection control policies.
The role requires RN licensure with BLS/ACLS certifications and 2+ years in acute cardiovascular/post-cardiac recovery settings.
Qualifications
- RN license and current CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications.
- 2+ years of acute cardiovascular/post-cardiac recovery experience preferred.
- Experience with post-procedure patient monitoring and telemetry is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-admission testing for out-patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
- Coordinate with lab staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality patient care.
- Provide pre- and post-care for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Monitor patients after moderate sedation.
- Assist with orientation and training of new personnel.
- Transport patients to and from procedures.
