Job summary

SSM Health's WI Dell Cardiac Rehab in Baraboo is seeking a PRN clinician to deliver direct patient care for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients, including monitoring, education and therapeutic exercise programs. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and completion of a cardiopulmonary rehab internship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or a health related field.
• Completion of internship in a Cardiopulmonary Rehab program.
• BLS HCP and ALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develops exercise prescription and oversees progression for cardiovascular/pulmonary patients.
• Provides patient testing before/after rehab including strength and endurance.
• Assesses hemodynamic response and updates prescriptions accordingly.
• Documents activity, education, and discharge planning per policies.
• Provides education and information to patients and peers.
