Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4H Cardiac Progressive Care unit. The role uses the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinates with other departments, and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.

This full-time, 36-hour week position offers shift 12-hour days (7:00am–7:30pm) with generous RN incentives, including sign-on bonuses up to $10,000 and bridging programs to advance your BSN/MSN, plus loan

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: push/pull 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking, reach/bend/kneel/twist/squat.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
