Job summary

Novant Health Rowan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Pre & Post team. You’ll provide specialized nursing care for patients before and after cardiovascular procedures, monitor rhythms and vital signs, and assess recovery progress in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Experience in cardiovascular nursing or related area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for cardiac procedures and provide post-procedure recovery care.
• Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, and respond to patient changes.
• Identify potential post-procedure complications and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate safe, effective patient care.
