Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the Cardiac Pavilion (Cardiac Med Intermediate). This full-time position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am).

Mercy provides strong benefits and incentive programs, including up to $7,500 sign-on for new RNs, up to $10,000 for experienced RNs, and loan-forgiveness options plus ASN/BSN and BSN/MSN bridging support.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: current RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
