Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a registered nurse focused on patient safety to work full-time in its Heart Institute. Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday; 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with call.

Education includes ADN or diploma, BSN preferred, and Texas RN license. ACLS required within 12 months; CC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (ADN) or diploma in nursing is required
• BSN preferred
• Current State of Texas RN license
• ACLS within 12 months of employment
• Critical Care experience preferred
• On-call weekend/monthly and holidays as per rotation

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive assessment and ongoing data collection
• Synthesize data to identify problems and formulate goals and plans
• Implement and delegate interventions within the plan of care
• Evaluate patient outcomes and coordinate follow-up care and referrals
