The role requires 1 year of OR RN experience and an NLN-approved nursing program, with Texas RN licensure (BLS/ACLS per requirements). The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a full-time schedule.

Schedule: 0615-1445, Monday-Friday for up to 12 weeks; taking call is required. Preferred CNOR credentials and cardiothoracic OR experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-approved nursing program.
• 1 year Operating Room RN experience.
• Texas license or BLS/ACLS per requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents health status during intraoperative phase.
• Communicates data to team and plans care accordingly.
• Performs intraoperative nursing interventions with documentation.
• Prepares for procedures by obtaining supplies and equipment.
• Serves as a resource and preceptor to nursing staff.
