Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for Cardiac Observation on the night shift. You will provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The role requires adherence to organizational policies and continuous professional development. Required licensure in Georgia with RN status; BCLS; advanced certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Georgia licensure required and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care.
• Functions within the policies and procedures of Piedmont and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
