Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System in Illinois is seeking a Med Surg/Cardiac RN to join our Intermediate Care unit. The PRN nights schedule is 3x12 shifts (6:45pm-7:15am) with every other weekend rotation; compensation aligns with experience and includes shift differentials.

A BSN is preferred; RN licensure in the state is required; BLS certification is required; healthcare experience is preferred. We foster compassionate, collaborative care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Med Surg/Cardiac unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on condition, medications, and self-care.
