Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health in Chicago seeks a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit, focusing on adult medical, surgical, and telemetry patients.

You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans, promote patient safety, educate patients and families on illness management and medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid RN licensure.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of Med Surg or Telemetry experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a Med Surg Cardiac unit.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medications.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
• Develop and communicate care plans across the care continuum.
• Utilize nursing skills for holistic patient assessments.
