Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in Happy Valley, Oregon is seeking a Cath Lab Special Procedure Technologist II to support diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures in cardiac and vascular labs.

You will scrub, monitor, and X-ray, assist with invasive procedures, ensure radiation safety and sterile technique, and participate in on-call coverage with a 30-minute on-site requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 continuous months of cardiac cath lab, EP, Neuro IR, and/or special procedures experience within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub, monitor/recorder, and X-ray technologist during CVL procedures.
• Prepare and position patients and assist with invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot hemodynamic, imaging, and monitoring equipment.
• Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic waveforms and promptly alert the care team.
• Maintain sterile fields using proper aseptic technique.
• Support procedures involving IVUS, atherectomy devices, pacemakers/ICDs, and coronary interventions.
• Perform radiation safety and quality-assurance activities.
• Assist with sheath removal, hemostasis, patient transport, and post-procedure care.
• Perform point-of-care testing including ACT, glucose, oxygen saturation, and ABGs.
• Perform BLS/advanced life support and defibrillation when required.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and clean work areas.
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond onsite within 30 minutes when called.

Base Salary: $50 – $60/hour

The Cath Lab Special Procedure Technologist II assists credentialed providers with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures in cardiac and vascular laboratory environments.
