Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Heart Vascular/Surgical Trauma ICU at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. The role supports critically ill cardiac patients, including post-operative and interventional care, with specialized equipment and continuous renal replacement therapy capabilities.

The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure care plans meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed registered nurse in Massachusetts (active MA RN license).
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in critical care or cardiac settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Heart Vascular/Surgical Trauma ICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Monitor and titrate vasoactive infusions and hemodynamic parameters.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation according to unit standards.
