Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse RN for the Cardiac ICU in Gainesville, GA. This full-time night-shift position requires an RN license in Georgia, an ADN or diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

The role focuses on direct patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and leadership within the care team. Preferred BSN licensure and ongoing professional development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience – demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac ICU per nursing process.
• Coordinate care for assigned patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in unit governance and quality improvement activities.
• Demonstrate leadership of self and others as appropriate.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
