Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). The RN will deliver care to critically ill patients, perform assessments, develop care plans, and manage complex medication regimens and invasive monitoring.

This 36-hour per week, evening shift role (11:00 am–11:00 pm) includes rotating weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree in Nursing, an active Connecticut RN license, and

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nursing required.
• Valid Connecticut RN license.
• 1+ year CICU experience preferred.
• ECMO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments for critical care patients and develop care plans.
• Adjust critical infusions and monitor hemodynamics and sedation.
• Care for patients with advanced monitoring and invasive equipment.
• Provide care in a 22-bed Level 1 Trauma CICU and ECMO program context.
