Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced RN for its CICU 24-bed high-acuity unit (8S) on the Garden Tower. The role focuses on cardiac/interventional care, including acute MI, cardiogenic shock, and complex post-procedural care.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year acute care RN experience, completed an accredited nursing program, and holds an RN license with BLS certification. Night and weekend differentials apply and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Strong interest and passion for cardiac care.
A commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth.
1+ year Acute Care RN experience.

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
Using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making, lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
