Job summary

Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Acute Care RN to join a high-acuity CICU (8S, 24-bed) unit. You will provide skilled nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients, coordinating plans with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 1+ year acute care RN experience, a valid state RN license, and BLS. Weekend shifts, holiday rotations, and differential pay apply, with a supportive team culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• 1+ year Acute Care RN experience.
• Strong interest and passion for cardiac care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice.
